Hearthpaw is nine sitters covering six neighborhoods, all of them employees rather than contractors — hired slowly, trained in pet first aid and CPR, supervised, and paid properly. We don’t match you with whoever is nearest, and nobody you haven’t met walks through your door.
You get one named sitter and one named backup. Both meet your pets before a single booking is taken, both know the routine, and most of our clients have had the same sitter for years. When yours is on holiday, the backup isn’t a stranger — they’ve been shadowing all along.
